Express Employment Professionals are looking to hire a PLC/Industrial Electrical Technician for a full-time career in Cache Valley, UT!

As a professional in the field of PLC/Industrial Electrical Technology, your role will involve working within an automated packaging facility, with a focus on servicing servo systems, sensors, and other automation components. While proficiency in PLC programming is preferred, it is not the primary responsibility of this position. Your main duties will include troubleshooting PLC issues and performing electrical maintenance tasks.

Available shifts and salary:

• Swing shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• Grave shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
• $36.09/hour D.O.E, Raise after 90 days!!

Responsibilities for the PLC/Industrial Electrical Technician:

• Design/Upgrade a PLC-based control system for an automated packaging line/and or facilities equipment
• Generate electrical drawing packages
• Troubleshoots PLC systems
• Makes minor software changes when directed
• Maintains strong knowledge of NEC and local codes
• Maintains thorough knowledgeable of all plant operational systems in order to aid in troubleshooting
• Will provide daily support to the Production and Maintenance departments for troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise

Requirements for the PLC/Industrial Electrical Technician

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of PLC experience preferred
• Able to accurately read/follow blue prints and schematics
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Allen- Bradley PLC is preferred
• Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Servo Drives and motors, experience with 3-phase electrical systems
• Ability to operate shop equipment and powered vehicles or capability to learn
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Excel
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a drug test and background check
