Position: SEIS Provider (Preschool Special Education Teacher)

• Preschool Fee For Service Special Instruction
• Daytime hours (during school day)
• Follows a school-based schedule
• Various cases available in Nassau and/or Suffolk County

Responsibilities:*

• Work with students in preschool settings to provide individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on IEP goals to engage and captivate learners with various abilities.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP meetings.

• NYS Students with Disabilities Birth-Grade 2 Certification
• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families preferred
• Bilingual is a plus
