Rail Transportation Billing Specialist - Decatur, IL
This is a full time, non- exempt position.

Position Summary:
The transportation billing specialist will play a critical role in supporting ADM business units and the transportation supply chain through the execution of diversions, shipping instructions and other transportation related functions. This position requires after-hours/weekend/ holiday on call rotation and coverage for colleague’s vacation. The person needs to have a desire to learn various functions within the transportation department and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule. Remote work during weekend/holiday hours is available.
• Accurately problem solve to resolve discrepancies
• Demonstrate interpersonal communications skills and work well with others for conflict resolution train on other responsibilities
• Cross within the team
• Work in IBM, RMS and various rail road web applications
• On time execution of orders, meeting various deadlines for different ADM facilities
• Act as a liaison with ADM IT departments and railroads to problem solve system related and other issues as they arise
• Analytical skills / Problem resolution
• Continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

• H.S diploma required plus 3 years office experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve discrepancies
• Organization and time management skills
• Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of IBM (IMS & CICS) preferred
• Knowledge of rail transportation is a plus
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Extensive keyboard operations
