Regional Director Channel Sales DACH

The Regional Director Channel Sales will lead a team of external and internal Channel Account Managers. The RDCS will successfully drive profitable growth of the region and manage the team to deliver growth via existingand new account relationships and create and close new business development opportunities within the region and across the relevant verticals.

You will make an impact in the following way:
- Own a defined set of sales targets aligned to the responsibilities of the role, meeting and exceeding these targets over a sustained period.
- Lead the team by sharing the vision, goals and objectives of the Belden business with them and translating these into regional goals, strategies and expectations that are understood and form the basis for the team's execution and support of the regional go-to-market strategy.
- Manage a team of professional Channel Account Managers to deliver revenue growth by maximizing share of wallet of all Belden products and solutions in existing partner accounts and by developing new partner accounts in relevant geographies and verticals.
- Develop the partner landscape in the assigned territory that supports the business goals and strategies of the Business Platforms. This includes but is not limited to the consolidation of partners, the development of partners to represent Belden#s complete portfolio of products and solutions and the recruitment of new partners to address coverage gaps in terms of geography, application/vertical or skillset.
- Continuously develop the competency and performance levels of the team by retaining and developing individuals, being a coach and mentor to them enabling them to develop their critical (sales) competencies utilizing the standard tools and processes available within Belden and by taking decisive actions to address sustained performance concerns.
What you will bring:
- Education - Degree level in Business (administration, economics) or Marketing degree or a track record in professional career relevant to the sales field.
- Experience - Experience of working within a medium to large sized international organization, in a matrix environment, working with cross functional teams including End User sales, Pre- and Post-Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Finance
- Leadership - Proven track record within a sales leadership role, including sustained sales growth in existing & new business, management of a partner landscape and strategic price management.
- Track Record - Experience of developing and improving sales team performance via a variety of sales leadership methodologies including account plan reviews, sales skill coaching and team objectives.
- Agile Personality - Excellent communication skills and analytical skills. Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and pressured work environment. A pro-active, flexible and pragmatic approach.
