SCHEDULE: Full-time


Cardiology - Heart Failure Clinic/Interventional Care Center (ICC) Registered Nurse
Day Shift



Duties include care of a patients with the following:
  • Heart Failure patient disease management
  • Coumadin management in the clinic
  • Pre and post care in the Interventional Care Center for procedures such as: Heart Caths, Pacemakers, Lung biopsy, mediports, Angiograms etc. - 12 hr shifts 6a-6p when working in ICC.
  • Stress testing
  • Cardioversions
  • Transespogeal Echocardiogram

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

  • Current licensure as an RN in TX or Compact license is required
  • BSN required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum one year hospital cardiac nursing experience required
  • Telemetry experience preferred
