Job Summary:
St Anthony Summit Medical Center is a Level III Trauma Center serviced by Flight For Life® Colorado and nationally recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction. We provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Summit County and the surrounding areas including Surgical, Emergency, Critical Care, Birth Center, Orthopedic, Breast Care, Digital Mammography, Radiology & Imaging, Infusion Therapy Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Summit Sleep Disorders Center, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology and Total Joint Replacement. In addition to 24/7, Level III emergency care at Summit Medical Center in Frisco, we hire seasonal associates for our three emergency mountain clinics at some of Colorado’s top destination ski resorts: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone. Job Summary:
- Has knowledge of community health concepts, principles of ambulatory clinical nursing care, case management and care
coordination. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the
healthcare team and the patient/ family, utilizes best practice to maximize patient engagement and patient self management efforts. - Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process
and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal
accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission and core values.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- Current state RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
- Current BLS, ACLS required for Cardiac Clinic settings
- RNs Certification in Ambulatory Nursing through the AAACN, preferred
Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
