Role Attributes • Technically savvy in programming and scripting; enjoys using technology to solve real world problems; may have his/her own Github repository or entered data science contests in the past. • Interested in learning about finance, and building knowledge across equities, fixed income and alternative asset classes. • Self-starter, inquisitive • Work under direct supervision of senior members of the Investment Office. • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Develop expertise and support data needs of front and middle office systems (BlackRock Aladdin and Citi Velocity/Clarity). • Reporting and portfolio risk analysis. • Maintain and validate risk models in Aladdin. • Conduct investment due diligence on external fund managers and produce an evaluation report for team review. Requirements Experience • Strong programming experience (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python). • Database experience (e.g. SQL) helpful. • Preferably some experience with Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct but not required. • Fresh graduates and those with up to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Education • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or Data Science. • Complete Fit & Proper assessments successfully on an annual basis at minimum, or when other adjunct appointments are made.
