SUMMARY: To repair, alter and make any costumes necessary on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adherence to all housekeeping procedures and house rules.
• Be thoroughly familiar with all rules and standards pertaining to uniforms.
• Know how to operate and maintain sewing machines.
• Understand the follow-up procedure on issuance of uniforms.
• Maintain up to date records of all uniforms.
• Keep up to date records on fitted uniforms pertaining to names, numbers assigned and department.
• Be able to repair bedspreads, blanket and mattress pads.
• Be able to repair draperies.
• Do minor repair on guest clothing.
• Be able to take over the wardrobe attendant duties.
• Complete special projects as directed by management in order to maintain a first class hotel.
• Exhibit the Family Style Service Model for all Guests and Team Members

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Six months to one year of costume alteration experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if applicable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists. Must be able to comprehend and understand communications between Supervisory Staff, Co-Workers and Guests.
