Your profile

• BS in related discipline: Mechanical, Thermo, Aero or Electrical Engineering field is required and at least 5+ years of working experience as a field engineer. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
• Candidate must have willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Knowledge of process and vibration data collection equipment. Familiarity with API and ASME standards.
• Proficient in Windows® and Office®, Salesforce.com and SAP programs
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Your responsibilities

• This function includes a broad range of scope which encompasses all our product lines (IGT, IST, TCP, RCE).
• The scope of work includes installation and commissioning support of this equipment as well as performance optimization and remote diagnostic services hardware support.
• Field Engineers are responsible for the execution of advanced field service technical activities as: Performance Testing, Vibration studies, Surge Testing, Valve leakage testing, P-V curves, Partial discharge/Flux probe testing, Pulsation/acoustic studies, Control valve diagnostics, Root Cause Analysis/Trouble shooting, Support, myConnect installations.
