Summary:

RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator. The IT Systems Administrator maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems; including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Source code control, Slack, AWS, laptop imaging, Adobe Enterprise, Azure AD, performance monitoring and logging tools, and project management tools. Administers, installs and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems. Schedules, installs, and tests system software and hardware upgrades. Configures software and resolves technical problems. Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements. Has a working knowledge of cloud services infrastructure. PowerShell knowledge preferred. Provides backup support to the IT helpdesk as needed. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Reports to the Director of IT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementation, support and inventory control of applications used
• Collect, manage and disseminate performance and logging data across various systems
• Researches and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solutions
• Evaluates applications and ensures we are delivering the best IT value
• Works closely with IT management to prioritize business goals and information needs
• Ongoing administration and collaboration of internal systems

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years prior Information Technology experience required
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
• Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
