• 5+ years of experience in network troubleshooting
• Extraordinary interpersonal communications and customer-service skills
• Experience evaluating and managing outages to business critical infrastructure

• Experience in large scale networks
• Solid understanding of BGP, TCP/IP, Enterprise Wireless, and L2 technologies
• Good background in Cisco, Arista, Aruba, or Juniper routing/switching and firewall configuration
• Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Ansible, Salt, Chef and Python, Go, etc
• Experience working in large scale environments with ITIL incident and problem management

In this fast paced role, you will provide front line support for Apple’s network to address a wide variety of business challenges. You will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and provide operational support to our Retail Stores and Networks around the world. This position requires a collaborative teammate who will enjoy working with others around the globe. Your responsibilities will include working on tickets and break fixes, taking escalations from and mentoring junior team members, maintaining and upgrading existing networks to current standards, and sustaining operations through on-call rotations, as well as contributing to technical and procedural documentation. In this role you will obsess over minute details and drive operational excellence in every aspect of your work to deliver the best possible customer experience. In addition to the required technical networking skills, this position will also draw on strong interpersonal skills and an individual who enjoys the dynamic nature of Apple’s environment. - B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience - Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP, or equivalent experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $72,000 and $130,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
