TAX CLERK/PAYROLL CLERK OR SENIOR TAX CLERK/PAYROLL CLERK - The Borough of Tenafly, Bergen County, (pop. 15,000) is seeking full-time and/or part-time positions in our Finance Department. Duties include but are not limited to: billing taxes, posting payments, delinquent notices, processing payroll, pension reporting, deferred compensation plans, garnishments, accruals and various adhoc reporting. Two years municipal tax/payroll experience or three years finance/accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Applicant must have strong math and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential and knowledge of Edmunds and/or iSolved is preferred.
