Job description

Responsible for using general machining equipment with skills to create, repair and maintain various types of fixtures, gages, and production equipment to support our manufacturing processes

Job Functions:

• perates mills, lathe, grinders, and saws.
• Uses measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
• Fixture building, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to work with part prints and sketches.
• Miscellaneous duties assigned by operations manager.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.
• Following all safety protocols.
• Maintaining consistent quality while achieving a set production rate.
• Correctly recording daily production and completing any related paper work.

Skills:

• Proficiency using mills, lathe, grinders, and saws.
• Proficiency in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Trade school or other advanced training preferred.
• Strong command of written and verbal English.

·Ability to follow work instructions verbally and through visual aids provided.

·Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.

·Strong work ethic.

·Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.

·Ability to learn and properly apply new job-related information in a timely manner.

·Performs jobs in a manner that minimizes hazards to self, others and the environment.

·Ability to move materials using pallet jacks safely.

Required Experience:

Experience in a fast pace manufacturing or similar environment.

• Experience with CNC machining a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly remain in a stationary position at work station.
• Frequently lifts and moves parts weighing up to 30lbs.
• Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs.
• Must be able to Sit, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
