Job Summary: Receives, inspects, weighs, and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and condition.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives, inspects, weighs and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and condition.
- Ensures strict adherence to product specifications when receiving goods.
- Completes appropriate receiving documentation.
- Uses proper storage techniques to include proper rotation, dating and slotting of product.
- Fills orders and issues supplies promptly upon receipt of approved requisition.
- Delivers materials to the user department.
- Verifies correctness of order with receiving user department and obtains authorized signature on appropriate receiving record.
- Prepares and maintains reports and records as required.
- Responds to Purchasing's and user department's requests for returning products to vendors for repairs, credit, exchange, etc.
- Participates in assigned inventories.
- Conducts periodic cycle counts, pre-counts and works closely with Purchasing to ensure that established inventory levels and procedures are maintained.
- Recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, improved service and lower costs.
- Ensures that storage facilities are kept clean, orderly, safe and secure at all times
- Maintain temperature logs and report irregularities to proper authority.
- Conducts self in a professional manner and encourages others to do the same.
- Complies with company internal controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
- Fosters open communication with all departments.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Ability to read and write English
- Minimum one year receiving/warehouse experience or one-year restaurant/culinary experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to complete work in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to obtain insurance under company driving policy
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack and obtain property company sponsored certification
- Required to perform work in varying temperatures to include deep freezers
- Able to work with a wide variety of products without negative allergic consequences
- Must maintain high standard of personal hygiene
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Non-Gaming license/registration as required by the Virginia Lottery Board.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; stoop, bend, twist, reach, push/pull and regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
