SUMMARY

The primary purpose of the Coordinator, Work Control position is to provide customer service by communicating and coordinating information about personnel, material, and time to accomplish facility maintenance and project work on a priority basis. Coordinates cost, work data, and project status among clients, contractors, Physical Plant, and other Facility Services departments.

Accepts requests for work or estimates and processes (which may include: plans, tracks, reports and follows up) the work or estimates. Audits work order files to ensure accurate completion and material/activity log information is being submitted. Initiates, expedites, coordinates, tracks, communicates and follows-up with clients and contractors about maintenance work and facility projects.

Associate's degree or trade diploma/certificate. Two years of administrative or clerical experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
