The Technical Product Manager will help innovate and execute technical product initiatives across the technology organization. They will work with key internal stakeholders to help build the roadmap to deliver our shared vision for a robust, scalable, and effective technology basis for HealthEquity’s product offerings.

The Technical Product Manager will help innovate and execute technical product initiatives across the technology organization. They will work with key internal stakeholders to help build the roadmap to deliver our shared vision for a robust, scalable, and effective technology basis for HealthEquity’s product offerings.
What you'll be doing
- Engage with internal teams (Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, and Product Management) to understand and qualify opportunities for platform reliability, operational efficiency, and modernization
- Drive consensus and decision-making and prioritize the technical services roadmap using qualitative and quantitative data
- Develop technical product specifications covering value, use cases, scenarios, and features for products to improve the technology platform
- Work with Agile processes to document requirements as user stories
- Deliver non-functional requirements of the system including application telemetry, performance, reliability, resiliency, and security
- Clarify requirements and remove obstacles for Software Engineering
- Ensure delivery of roadmap features
What You'll Need To Be Successful
- Degree in an engineering field, computer science, or relevant technical professional experience
- Deep knowledge of technical software development processes, either through professional software engineering experience or computer science coursework
- 5 years professional experience as a technical product manager or product manager with at least one entire product development cycle from ideation to launch
- Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and modern service-oriented architecture designs
- Strong analytical skills: ability to process data into actionable information and ability to consider the complexity and cost of different approaches to problems
